1021Alternative to pad printing

        Read an article in the Business section of the newspaper that says the reorganized Kodak has an ultra-fast inkjet process that is as fast as linotype (the volume printing process now used to turn out newspapers, magazines, etc.).  This would possibly be an alternative to pad printing and make small runs more feasible.  As you all know, pad printing involves a process of precision engraving of steel plates so that paint can be precisely transferred to the item.  That would all be eliminated.  All you would need would be artwork created in Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, etc. and you could skip the engraving.  Don't know what such a print setup would cost, but eventually it might be available for desktop use, in the same way solid printing is becoming cheaper. 

        Tim, can't wait to see what you come up with as far as current container traffic.
