I have always found this a difficult moth to photograph when I have seen it in
Wiltshire. I do not recall having even seen it in Yorkshire.

The Speckled Yellow is common at Grass Wood, but in few other places in
Yorkshire according to Sutton and Beaumont.

Incidentally our moth recorder has had a record of Straw Dot submitted again
from the Grassington area. Is it now seen more commonly in W Yorkshire?
