I had a DX100 . The power socket does have tendency to "fall apart " from the main board ( it happened to my unit). Easily fixable. I just purchase a PSS480

I would imagine the first stop is the power socket. Any of the joints to the main board coming away will stop it powering up. It might be worth checking the
