This is totally bizarre, Yahoo Beta Team! My "mom" nickname also

fails to expand, just as previously reported by Jay.

Believe me, it's a full name entry that has been around for years and
has worked just fine until the latest release. Nickname processing
has been bug ridden since the first beta release, and it appears to be
getting worse rather than better. Previous bugs reported back on
0.3.2 have never been acknowledged or fixed.

the e-mail address of another address book entry, the code craps out
and issues the referenced error message.

I have a correspondent without a nickname whose e-mail address begins
with "mom." Just to prove the bug, I created a nickname for a dummy
entry that was the same as the beginning of the address of another
entry, and the same resolution error message showed up.

          Shame, beta team!
