This group was made "official" because we're recognized by Yahoo as a place to get help. Yahoo employees do read our messages for feedback, & occasionally answer our questions. We've had the "official" tag for quite some time.

this is the first time i've ever seen " official" in connection with this group...
the only place i see it is on the homepage for a link:
★ VISIT THE OFFICIAL YAHOO! MAIL CUSTOMER CARE >>
it also specifically says there are no yahoo employees here, officially...though there are some extremely knowledgeable people who are kind enough to help us with our problems.
where did you get that " official" thing ?

The title of this group is:
*Official* Y-Mail · Yahoo! Mail Users Group
What exactly is it that makes it "official" ??
