- Sep 24, 2012Well, I switched to new-new mail and it's not gone well at all. The search function is quite sad compared to classic. With classic all I needed to do was use a few letters of, for instance, the group name (like [YGOG or [Y- ) and select only the inbox. All the messages from the group were then presented, sorted by date ready to read. With new-new mail, I select [YGOG and pull nearly nothing, or alternatively truckloads of saved stuff that must be further filtered to get to just the inbox. And I must use the fully qualified [y-mail rather than [y- to get the results.
Maybe I don't have my configuration in new-new figured out, but this search difficulty actually impairs searching.

Hello, J BIt is working fine in my end. Are you using Yahoo Mail Classic or the New Yahoo Mail? Have you tried cleaning you browser cache?--

Hello! I just found this group and joined. I'm so glad it exists and I hope I can find some recommendations to resolve one issue I have with my Yahoo Mail account.As stated in the subject, the search function no longer works... or works only very rarely. I will type in some keywords, looking for an email that I KNOW for a fact is in my inbox, (just not where... it may be an old message). All I get in return is a blank page. No error message, no words at all.Not sure if it matters, but I use Google Chrome, and I'm on a Mac running OS 10.6.8Is this a known issue? Does anyone know how to correct it?Thanks!JB
