      There was a different case for me. There was this one ID I was using and
      then I closed down that account, again after 1 year (or a bit more or less)
      I registered for that same ID again. And yes I got it.

      Might be different in this case as this has been disabled due to inactivity.

      As far as I've ever heard, Yahoo IDs (and the email address that goes with
      each one) are never recycled -- once taken, it is gone. You may have to
      settle for a variation in spelling or punctuation to get something close to
      the address you really want.
