      The following works for me:

      <block>The following is a test using wrapper:</block>
      <wrapper text-align="end">
      <block>Test line one</block>
      <block>Test line two</block>
      </wrapper>

      <block>The following is a test using block:</block>
      <block text-align="end">
      <block>Test line one</block>
      <block>Test line two</block>
      </block>

      In both tests the nested blocks inherit the text alignment and the
      rendering looks identical.
