Hi Jack. no, the connection are not reversed, otherwise it would always go backwards. It is also (sometimes) depending on the rotation speed. Which should hintat91r40008

Bob, I have two X1M. One died and the other had the same problem with the display that you have. I swapped the front panel and the display looks great like itat91r40008
