Dear Faruqui sahib
I understand sir,any rational and careful reader of the history cant
be a supporter of Kemalism.you may be right about his success as a
military commander.but military command has many tier.he was
definitely a good unit level/regiment level officer,but as a
general,I hav my doubts and thats what I was trying to comment on.
most of the Pakistani officers are extremely good unit level
commanders.Niazi is one example.
Faruqui sahib i also want to write here; when a military commander
usurups power in whatever circumstances and try to perpetuates his
rule by various HATHKANDAS,he ceases to be a good officer,a good
soldier and a gentleman.thats what I strongly believe.
