"Altruistic Service - the way of Interreligious Tolerance"
After a successful project in Paramaribo last year, 2007 Suriname organizers have decided to hold a 2008 project in Brokopondo.
Brokopondo is a very famous district in Suriname. The Brokopondo Lake/Reservoir produces hydroelectric power that supplies electricity to more than half of Suriname's population. The Brokopondo district is largely a rainforest paradise, containing numerous beautiful waterfalls and large wildlife reserves. Brokopondo's population of 8000 includes indigenous peoples and other Surinamese from various ethnic groups.
Alhamdullillah (Praise be to Allah)

Thillai received the certificate on the 22nd of April in Sri Lanka. His main area of interest has been in: Character Building, Family values, Interreligious Harmony and Community Service.

I'm sure you have all heard about the disaster in Myanmar and how much the people are suffering due to the fact that aid organizations are being prevented from reaching people by the country's military junta. IRFF has partnered with ABITSU, a Burmese organization that is capable of going around the government to bring food, water and supplies directly to the people who need it.
Your help is desperately needed, immediatly. Please donate at www.irff.org today and pass this email on to other people, listserves and websites that can help.
Thank you for your generosity.
