      PI 2012 #043 - Just Another $1T Debt?

      ASK A HORSE

“Wars in old times were made to get slaves. The modern implement of imposing slavery is debt.”

      ~  Ezra Pound

      Liberty Lovers,

Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Estimates, reportedly, say America 's deficit spending will come to something over $1T this fiscal year.  Those same CBO estimates indicate comparable foreseeable annual deficit spending.

"Let every man, every corporation, and especially let every village, town, and city, every county and State, get out of debt and keep out of debt. It is the debtor that is ruined by hard times."

      ~  Rutherford B. Hayes

Another Trillion Dollar Deficit will mean every American (some 312 million of us) will 'owe' federal government debt on order of another ($1,000,000,000,000 / 312,000,000 people) $3,205.13.  It wouldn't be long, at $1T annual federal deficits, till an average American family would owe federal debt more than its gross annual income.

“You cannot spend your way out of recession or borrow your way out of debt.”

      ~  Daniel Hannan

Are Not America 's "Leaders" learning anything from debt crises world around?   Debt destroys financial security and future prosperity when debt installment payments steadily increase as a percentage of income.

"Debt, n.  An ingenious substitute for the chain and whip of the slavedriver.”

      ~  Ambrose Bierce

Americans Need To Clamp down on legislators voting to increase debt and deficit spending.  Abolishing direct taxation (property confiscation) would force "The State" to stop deficit spending.

“Home life ceases to be free and beautiful as soon as it is founded on borrowing and debt.”

      ~  Henrik Ibsen

People Intending To Live In Liberty do not allow legislators – or other public officials within These United States of America, to cause any citizen to be drawn into an obligation to assume responsibility for public debt for reasons other than to defend these United States.  They prohibit government from putting them at financial risk.
