      PI2013 #470 - Implications Of PPACA 2010

“The ancient Romans had a tradition: whenever one of their engineers constructed an arch, as the capstone was hoisted into place, the engineer assumed accountability for his work in the most profound way possible: he stood under the arch.”

      Liberty Lovers,

http://www.usdebtclock.org: Every American Taxpayer Now “Owes” “The (federal) State” $148,428, every citizen $53,478.

Patient Protection And Affordable Care Act (PPACA) 2010 has implications far beyond altering American health care administration.  PPACA is law, not a set of hearty recommendations based on a good idea.  Non-compliance with PPACA stands to bring punitive penalties.

“In the last analysis, of course, an oath will encourage fidelity in office only to the extent that officeholders continue to believe they cannot escape ultimate accountability for a breach of faith.”

      ~  James L. Buckley

Some PPACA 2010 Requirements are being delayed by President Obama's Administration.  Congress enacts federal laws; America 's presidents execute federal laws.  America 's federal Constitution doesn't give presidents power to enforce laws selectively, as they please.

PPACA Requires, Amongst Other things, sizeable numbers of America ns purchase health insurance.  This means 'government' ("The State") must have power to force someone to offer health insurance if none were to exist.  Laws have consequences.

“As long as enough people can be frightened, then all people can be ruled.”

      ~  James Bovard

"We, the American People" put out Liberty and freedom at risk when we allow public officials ind iscriminate latitude in law enforcement.  PPACA 2010 is shaping up as a law selectively enforced.  Worse, PPACA 2010 enforcement reflects disregard for law by those charged with upholding it.

People Intending To Live In Liberty do not allow legislators - or other public officials within These United States of America, to remain in office if they break their word to their constituents. They uphold self-government, exercise citizen sovereignty and remove offenders from office summarily.
