"As long as enough people can be frightened, then all people can be ruled.
That is how it works in a democratic system and mass fear becomes the ticket
to destroy rights across the board."

      ~ James Bovard

      Liberty Lovers,

      <http://www.usdebtclock.org/> http://www.usdebtclock.org: Every American
Taxpayer Now "Owes" "The (federal) State" $148,233, every citizen $53,262.

We always hear about the rights of democracy, but the major responsibility
      of it is participation."

      ~ Wynton Masalis

There Is No Such Thing as federal funding for anything. Government 'funds'
everything it funds, one way or another, with taxpayer money.

"Don't forget your great guns, which are the most respectable arguments of
      the rights of kings."

      ~ Frederick The Great

Saying Federal Money can't used to subsidize abortion, for example, is
specious. Anyone receiving public (taxpayer) money for any reason has more
money available to them, period. They may spend it at their discretion -
      including buying abortions.

"In the last analysis, of course, an oath will encourage fidelity in office
only to the extent that officeholders continue to believe they cannot escape
ultimate accountability for a breach of faith."

      ~ James L. Buckley

Funding Defined-Benefit Public Sector collective bargaining contracts is
also subsidized by public (taxpayer) money. No way around it; some people
'contract' government to confiscate other people's property for public
sector collective bargaining. Geese are geese, call them swans or not.

"The ancient Romans had a tradition: whenever one of their engineers
constructed an arch, as the capstone was hoisted into place, the engineer
assumed accountability for his work in the most profound way possible: he
      stood under the arch."

      ~ Michael Armstrong

People Intending To Live In Liberty do not allow legislators - or other
public officials within These United States of America, to require parents
to enroll their children in public (government) schools. They raise their
      children to think for themselves.
