My copy of "The Other Bible- Ancient Alternative Scriptures" (Edited
Willis Barnstone) which contains a plethora of gnostic gospels,
Christian apocrypha and Jewish pseudepigrapha describe both the
Hermetic "Poimandres" and "Acelpius" as Pagan Gnostic.
And then there are the Manicheans.
