The Inquisition - Well maybe not
I recently met Tim at a book signing with Phyllis Currot. Since my return
I'm surprised at the amount of mail in my in-box! I've tried to follow the
thread of e-mails but they seem to be random but there did feel to be a bit
of tension and the feeling of "an Inquisition" did seem to permeate.
I consider myself to be new to witchcraft although having felt like one all
my life and reading a lot on the subject it is only now that I've decided to
seek out others and learn from others (which one would presume I would have
done along time ago). Anyway I'm happy to have connected with this group
and look forward to meeting you all.
Pardon my ignorance Tim but what is Vinum Sabbati??
I'm reading Phyllis's Currot's - Book of Shadows and another book I can't
remember the title of that Tim recommended (I'll let you all know after I
find out when I get home).
Magick and Witchcraft have always been a part of my world although its not
something my family would have ever considered or even acknowledge to this
day. I come from a family of academics who live in a world of fear - I've
always been filled with magic - its only now I'm giving it the practice and
respect it has always deserved.
I'm living in Sydney. Single. I moved here after living in London for 2.5
years where I felt like a hunted and persecuted witch the entire time. I
work in media and entertainment, I'm in a contracted job until August and
then I shall wait and see what comes along next. You can talk to me about
anything esoteric, intuitive or astrological - I've always been caught
between this world and movies. I've always held a 'straight' job thought
whilst walking through the mystical world.
I hopes this satifies the questions and answers that were flying around.
Love & light
- Hello Kaz and welcome
I too am a fellow ex-pat kiwi. I left the lush green shores of the Bay of
Plenty (North Island, for those not familar with NZ) in 1990 to set up root
in the driest state (SA). Each time I go home to see the family it tugs at
the heart strings - why did I leave? I love the kiwi bush and the greeness
of the countryside but at the moment I am happy in Adelaide - I can't handle
the summers but I love the Barossa Valley and driving through the hills
which reminds me a bit of home (apart from all those gum trees).
