Please tell them:
o Any tax reform deal must provide enough revenue for the schools, services, safety net and job creation that New Yorkers need ($5 billion).
o New York State's income taxes are not too high! In fact, over the past 30 years, high income earners have seen cuts in their income taxes, placing more pressure on property and sales taxes and fees. Real tax reform must address this imbalance while providing adequate revenue!

The hearing begins at 7pm, but you need to get there very early if you are interested in speaking. Even if you do not want to speak, please go to fill the room with folks concerned with ensuring Westchester does not support a budget of austerity, full of layoffs, cuts to health centers, day care, and reduced quality of life for all residents of Westchester! On the steps of the County Center there will be a rally to stop cuts to Westchester County Preserves (Cranberry Lake, Marshlands, Edith Read Sanctuary, Lenoir Preserve, and the Trailside Museum in Ward Pound Ridge Reservation).
