It is with great sadness that we must inform members that the President of MARC, Dennis Gaboury, W8DFG, became a silent key on Wednesday April 13, 2011. Dennis will be missed by all of us. The Michigan Area Repeater Council has sent flowers.Dennis Fernand Gaboury

Dennis Fernand Gaboury, age 63 of Mount Clemens, passed away Wednesday evening at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. He was born February 25, 1948 to Fernand and Jennie (Lamoureux) Gaboury in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Gaboury served in the MI National Guard, and was the co-owner of Northpointe Fabrication, Mount Clemens. He was a member of the Moose, Elks, Eagles and AmVets all in Mount Clemens, and the USECA Radio Club. Dennis was a walk coordinator for the March of Dimes. Surviving are his children, Jason (Renee) Gaboury, Holly (Matthew) Vasich and Wade (Stacey) Gaboury; his parents, Fernand and Jennie Gaboury; granddaughters, Isabel, Madison, Carly, McKenna and Catelyn, and siblings, Debra (Paul) Christensen, Dawn Gaboury and Dean (Pam) Gaboury. Visiting at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens will be from 12:30 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday. Memorial contributions ma! y be made to the donor's choice.
