        Yeah...speaking of going green, I see there is proposed federal legislation that, if passed, by 2010 will make coal fired electric generating plants pay a "fee"  for using fuel that contributes to greenhouse gases or climate warming...whatever they call it  today.  Washington DC, Oklahoma and other states already have jacked  electric rates up to 29 percent ( USA Today report) .   If passed,  electricity purchased from coal fired plants could double in cost ,   I'm on the budget plan here, my monthly rate just went up 14 percent last month.  Considering Michigan is at the bottom of the food chain energy wise, heating your home this coming season is expected to cost you 200 bux more if you use natural gas,  a cool grand if you use fuel oil.  Don't even wanna think about propane.  
                I figured going solar here would take 40 years to re coup my investment.  That was a year ago.  Now it looks like it will only take 20 years to re coup my investment.  I might make it another 20 years.  Hmmm.
