Does anyone local do repairs on modern Yaesus--Ft-7800--?I just hate the idea of mailing it out to Ca. and $70.00 for them to just look at it. 73 KD8CBJ

I try the Rest Procedure---holding [MHz(PRI)] while turning on.
I have tried F-1 through F-5.Each one after pressing and holding [BAND(SET)] the unit shuts down.
Is the a reset feature or something I am missing?Or is is it Yaesu repair shop bound?

Although he is "accredited" for Icom service, I'm sure he works on other
makes as well. In fact, I'm sure that some of the Holland club members
have used him for Yaesu repairs.
