If anyone wants to know how to set their Outlook Express up for sending individual groups to certain folders, I can send instructions.  It's great for weeding through all the Rolex, Cialis, and Viagra ads.

You will need a pay service.  This one costs 2 or 3 dollars a month and is the best I have seen.  I tried many, but most of them also blocked mail I wanted to come into my Inbox. http://www.thespameater.com/

You can pay by the year or the month and they have a 30 day free trial.

For a long time now I've been using e-mail programs from the Mozilla
project. Currently using Thunderbird 1.5, which is available for many
different operating systems and has smart "trainable" spam filters: you
mark as "junk" what you consider to be junk, and the program gradually
learns what *you* consider to be junk -- unlike some over-enthusiastic
filter that your ISP installs and will not let you turn off.

You decide what it should do with the "junk" messages: delete them
automatically, move them to a specified folder for further processing,
or leave them where they are.

It misses a few and very occasionally marks as "junk" a message that I
actually wanted, but I am very satisfied with it.
