Is there >>something I can reference?<<Julianna's referencing (acronyms abound) the West Kingdom Equestrian Handbook, which I know you have a copy of and have read, since I think you were making equipment out of it and explaining it to the Santa Cruz Horseman's Association where you organized a practice. It's also in the Files section of the Yahoogrop, and on the Westkingdom website under the EQ Arts link www.westkingdom.org (minus the appendices/articles which are too huge a file to post, and some we only have hard copies for). Since you're in Santa Cruz, I think Julianna may think you are 'newer' than you are - it's that 'if I'm not at the event it never happened' disease. :-) In fact Bjorn and Quorin have been quite active over the past 2 years, attending several events with horses (Purg Coronation last year and Mists Coronet(s?) , and the practice at Ed Levin - and have organized 1 official practoice in their area). Hopefully there will be more to come, because that site would rock to have events/practices at and they really seemed to like us. Julianna, I can attest that Bjorn does get herself informed, though you and she may not happened to have been at the same events together due to geography.
>>At events you also need to familiarize yourself with the "loose"schedules we announce/post.<< I tried to give everyone a paper copy of the schedule I posted to the list when they arrived, but it's possible they didn't get one. Bjorn, if not my apologies - hopefully the wipe board and privy posts helped some. :-), Marguerite
