      The evening will feature a full length fashion show including the local designers/boutique owners; Treasury, Durkl, Redeem, Commonwealth and the debut of DC-based men's accessories line Derringer Friday. The runway show will be styled by DC fashion bloggers and members of the fashion community including; Project Beltway's Rachel Cothran, the founder of The President Wears Prada, Worn Magazine's Nicole Aguirre and the gentlemen of Derringer Friday. The event will be a multi-layered presentation; mixing all elements of fashion and art in this city. It will attempt to celebrate accessible fashion and the unique fashion community here in DC. In addition to the show itself, the evening will feature pop-up shops from the involved boutiques and a preview of the soon-to-be released Worn Magazine. There will also be a fashion photography exhibit from DC based photographers Joshua Yospyn, Nicole Aguirre and Jodi King.

      Transformer is pleased to present new work by DC-based artist Mia Feuer, who engages Transformer's project space from floor to ceiling in the creation of a large-scale, site-specific installation of construction cranes and pulley systems. Fabricated from foam and aircraft cable, Mia's brightly colored, intersecting sculptural elements form a "landscape" of impressions that the Winnipeg- born artist encountered during frequent travels up and down the US East Coast.

      Eatonville Restaurant's Food and Folklore dinner series celebrates Sophisticated Ladies with a special dinner featuring A'Lelia Bundles , award-winning news producer, author and great-great-grand-daughter of Madame C.J. Walker.

      A'Lelia Bundles - author, Emmy Award winning producer and former ABC News executive - will be the featured speaker. Bundles is the great-great-granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker, and the author of the bestselling book, On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker. She appeared on NBC's Today, CBS's Sunday Morning, ABC's Good Morning America and NPR's All Things Considered. She is currently at work on a biography of her great-grandmother and namesake, A'Lelia Walker, a central figure of the Harlem Renaissance.

      The evening includes a presentation about the "high society" of the Harlem Renaissance followed by a family-style dinner with a menu reminiscent of those enjoyed by attendees of the infamous salons of the Harlem Renaissance. The dinner will include fried chicken, red bliss potato salad and braised collard greens. The complete menu follows this announcement.
