Bicentennial of the War in the Chesapeake
- On this date, 200 years ago, a British squadron arrives at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay and establishes a blockade of the bay. The squadron consists of the following frigates: HMS Maidstone (32), HMS Junon (38), HMS Belvidera (36) and HMS Statira (38), under the overall command of Capt George Burdett.
The War of 1812 has come to the Chesapeake.
Just a reminder that the bicentennial of the British assault on Havre De Grace is May 3-5. We should have registration starting within the week.

- Hello Ed,
Looking forward to the Harve de Grace event. I've seen people post "timeline style" updates of troop movements leading to an event and if you decide to do this I will happily folllow the thread.
Anquious to end the garrison season.
