Steve Abolt will be teaching a military clothing workshop in Winchester VA on December 1-2 dedicated to the 1813 United States Army coatee taught.
The workshop will be held at the Aloft Winchester Hotel, conveniently located off of I-81 in northern Virginia, near many 18th and 19th century historic sites.
Kits will be included in the cost of the workshop, cut from Kochan-Phillips military textiles in your choice of infantry, artillery, or musicians coatee. Because of the limited workspace and the attention required for each student, the class sizes are limited to first come, first served. Complete workshop details, including directions, material lists, etc. will be distributed to registered participants. Participants should bring with them necessary sewing tools such as scissors, needles, pins, beeswax, and thread.
