      A fascinating topic...

During next year's bi-national Battle of Queenston Heights
Commemoration and Reenactment (Oct. 12-14, 2012) the
U.S. side will be conducting a senior high school speech competition
      on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The best and brightest will be competing for cash prizes and
high school participants will be able to choose from 1 of 5
topics to write and deliver a persuasive speech.

      1) The U.S. won
      2) The British won
      3) The U.S. and British both won
      4) The U.S. and British both lost
      5) The Natives lost

The speeches will be 7 minutes long and the final round
will be very exciting and include the best presenter of
each topic. Judges will determine who was the most
      persuasive.

A great opportunity for the general public to hear our
students debate a topic that is close to 200 years old.
and no doubt will still be debated 200 years from now!
