More Remembrance Day service
- Worthy of note:
The town of Amherstburg is also among the small number of Canadian communities that annually recognize the War of 1812 during remembrance Day ceremonies. Each year, members of the Provincial Marine, 41st Regiment of Foot, and occasionally other 1812 re-enactment units march in that town's Remembrance Day parade and lay wreaths at the cenotaph.
Any members of other units who would like to participate are always welcome to form up with the PM (for sailors) or 41st (for infantry). Anyone interested should report at the Amherstburg Legion by 10:00 Wednesday. If directions are needed, feel free to contact me directly.
Lest we forget.
