WOODS, Terrance Bryan February 17, 1943 - October 26, 2009 Peacefully, with dignity and courage, Terry passed away at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, with his family by his side. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Beverly, his children Bryan (Michele), Paul (Jeff Foran), Laura (James Clarkson) and devoted and proud grandad of Nathan, Aidan and Cole. Beloved son of Doris and the late John Woods. Cherished brother of Tim (Jennifer), Heather Dunsmore (Bill), Randy (Joan), Dan (Tineke) and Kevin (Joyce). Loved brother-in-law of Linda Yaciuk (Joe). Terry will be sadly missed by his cousins, nieces, nephews and long time friends. After 34 years of service, Terry retired from Stelco, Truck Department. Terry was a long time member of MacNeill Baptist Church. His passions were music and history. He sang in his church choir, was a member of the Hamilton Opera Chorus for many years, soloist and choir member of the Scottish Rite choir. In retirement, he joined the 1812 re-enactment group 41st Regiment of Foot to live his passion for history. He was a member of the Hamilton Scottish Rite and Meridian Lodge No. 687 in Ancaster. The Woods family would like to thank Dr. R. Foley, Karen Running, Dr. R. Meyer and all the kind staff and volunteers of the Juravinski Cancer Centre for their compassionate care of Terry during his journey with cancer for 16 years. Also thanks to Dr. B. Hattersley and the wonderful staff of 3 East at St. Peter's Hospital for their loving and excellent care. A memorial celebration of Terry's life will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at MacNeill Baptist Church, 1145 King Street West, Hamilton, ON. In lieu of flowers, we suggest donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or MacNeill Baptist Church in Terry's name. Please sign the online Book of Condolence at www.baygardens.ca
