      For his efficient execution of the passagemaking-based School of the
      Sailor, Amherstburg, Ontario, CDR Peter Rindlisbacher receives the
      Flag Officer's Commendation.

      For his intelligent leadership and effective provision of a Naval
      Establishment flotilla at the 2007 Grand Tactical, Lt Thomas Hurlbut
      receives the Naval Establishment Mention In Despatches and
      advancement to the head of the Lieutenants' seniority list.

      For his completion of the longboat Ferret and leadership of its crew,
      Acting Lieutenant Charles Fitton receives the Naval Establishment
      Mention In Despatches. A/Lt Fitton will sit the Lieutenancy Board
      during 2008, at the School of the Sailor.

      Orders To Be Received

      The 2008 School of the Sailor will move to a mixed shore instruction
      and on-water boatwork mode, at a date and location to be announced.
      The Chair of the Event Committee is LT Thomas Hurlbut, Commander
      Upper Lakes and Lake Simcoe Station.

      The 2008 Grand Tactical will take place in September at Jefferson-
      Patterson Park, Maryland. The Naval Establishment will stand by to
      receive information from the organizing Committee of the 2008 GT to
      learn how it can assist. Members are urged to plan participation in
      the 2008 event if at all possible.

      Members are urged to refresh themselves as to the Rank Requirements
      and the Uniform Regulations for the Naval Establishment. Boat owners
      and coxswains are to note that the approved Colours for Naval
      Establishment boats and vessels is the post-1801 Red Ensign.
