      Dear Ray,

Our group also registers and insures everyone under the NFA policy including children. This way everyone is covered in case injury to a third party happens on or off the battlefield.

We, in the 1st (Royal Scots) Grenadier Co., insure them all, on the
line or not. All members have coverage through the policy. It's
easier that way and a lot tidier. Your membership fee covers your
insurance, and any other incidental society fees.

The visitor is a bit grey but generally a fee is paid and an amount
sent in to cover the individual for the 2 week period which is listed
in the policy. This can becomre tedious however.

      List;
Many of us in Canada have liability insurance through the National
Firearms Association of Canada. It is a good policy with excellent
      coverage.
But, I have a question. What do other units do regarding children at
events? Does the category of "Visitor" mentioned in the Certificate of
      Insurance apply to them?

Further, how do other units deal with coverage for Camp Followers. If
one applies the "Visitor" category to them then they end up paying a
lot more than regularly paid-up members of a unit.

      Any enlightenment would be helpful.

      Many thanks
