Western Upper Canada is under attack. Sept 23-24 Fanshawe Village, London.

With the defeat at the Battle of Lake Erie and the Battle of Longwoods
the British have pulled out of the area and left it undefended and
open to attack. The raids into Western Upper Canada commence.

This is the basis for the War of 1812 event at Fanshawe Village in
London, Ontario. The recreated historic village is representative of
those villages which existed along the north shore of Lake Erie
(Patterson's Creek, Charlotteville (Turkey Point), Port Talbot, Long
Point, and Port Dover) and American forces are able to invade the
village at will if they get past the few troops who remain.

The staff at the village build a whole story and mini first person
plays around the whole event and immerse themselves in 1812. It's a
lot of fun and tiring to see how much energy and enthusiasm they have.
Come check it out for yourself and see.

If you are not busy with a paid event or history display check out
this real growing 1812 event. Plenty of spaces to set up right in the
village, firewood, indoor facilities, cafe on site, over 40 buildings
to explore, FREE ICE, evening entertainment, skirmishes and full
      one-end-of-the-town to the other battles.
