Ruth did like red geraniums. Thanks Al it is a touching symbol. It is
hoped that one day red geraniums will come to symbolise remembrance of the
War of 1812, just as a poppy for veterans.
As of this past spring the last two houses on Redmond Heights were torn
down, and the grass is growing and it will be park like before you know it.
As of today the new Battlefield Memorial Wall is half installed and will be
(should be) finished by next week for the Battle of Lundy's Lane
      re-enactment.

As an FYI for all coming there is currently 291 registered re-enactors
coming. If you are just planning on showing up without letting us know
there will not be a spot for you to set up tents. As of today's site
layout, there is almost 6 full streets at 75 feet long!
