      Paul et all,
      I attended the event at
      Fort Malden this week end.
      The "EMPLOYEES" there, work
      for Parks Canada and are not
      "RE-ENACTORS". They are
      not "VOLUNTEERS" either.
      They work for the "NICER TOY"
      which is a historic site.
      During the event, and as
      well, every day the Fort is
      open, staff manning the different
      stations, Barracks, firing cannons,
      musket drill, etc. wear "HISTORIC
      UNIFORMS"..........
      .....Not golf shirts and jeans. I will
      say that the administration does wear
      the Parks Canada uniform, but not the
      people at the Historic Site level.
      Would it really hurt the crew to wear
      historic clothes, rumour this week is
      the HMS Detroit crew will, they are
      just about to start construction,
