      39th US Infantry Among Military Re-enactment Groups This Fall

      Horseshoe Bend National Park, Daviston, Al. is supporting
      Mississinewa 1812 this year by sending it's unit, the 39th United States
      Infantry.

      This is the first time for this group to participate at
      Mississinewa 1812 and should put an a
      great show for visitors to the event.

      Back again this year are the 1st US Inf. commanded by Dave Bennett,
      1st US Inf. commanded by Walt Reisner, 7th US Inf. commanded by Steve
      Abolt, 19th US Inf. commanded by Rob Trumbull, 14th US Light Dragoons
      commanded by Steve Allie, Payne's Mounted Kentucky Light Dragoons commanded
      by Ken Hall, Brooks US Marines commanded by Don Brunski, 1st US Light
      Artillery commanded by Walt Dubbeld, 2nd US Artillery commanded by Don
      Shenefield, and a host of other US Units.

      Among the British units are Tim Pickles British Staff, 1st Regt.,
      8th Regt., 40th Regt., 41st Regt., 93rd Regt., Royal Marines, Royal
      Engineers, Forces of Lord Selkirk, Prairie du Chien Militia, plus many other
      units.

      ~ also reports that Sutlers, food purveyors, craftsmen and blanket
      traders from across the USA and Canada will be in attendance.
