To all of you who were so kind to enquire about Dave
and his progress we want you to know that he is home
and halfway-back to normal. He is very sore and weak
but back to his normal "cranky" self.

The doctor turned him lose at 7:00 pm Wed. evening.
He went through the operation real well, it took three
hours. He was up walking Monday. He has a "battle
scar" anyone would be proud of, at least 12 inches long.
It turned out to be a very good thing that they did the
operation when they did, though the aneurysm was not
so big, it was near to his renal and bowel arteries, it was
quite a tedious surgery according to his surgeon.
His heart did fine and his lungs gave him no problem.

We don't know when we will get to go to an event.
I'm sure he won't be on the field for quite some time.

      Thanks for thinking about Dave.
      We both really appreciate it.

      Frances McBeth
