Finally I feel like I can contribute to all the good information being
circulated to this group.  Here is a link to information sources our
Bicentennial Commission has put together for students and other interested
      persons. http://illinoiswarof1812bicentennial.org/sources.html

      Subject: Re: Ideal W1812 bibliography?

Thank you, Ron and Mark for your suggestions.
I will add your suggestions to the list at the earliest possible opportunity.

Following is a list I am compiling for the government. This War of 1812 resource
guide is for the benefit of the General Public as well as, I would say, for
military historians and genealogists. I will be grateful for suggestions as to
important oversights I have missed as I'm sure there are some.

      Sincerest thanks,
      Sarah
