      Anna M. Conina

At long last, with the help of Jennifer Brehl, Terry's US editor
at HarperCollins, we have managed to get a copy of the
signing schedule for Terry's forthcoming US tour.

Please keep in mind that all times and locations are subject to change.
It is always a good idea to call or email the venue to confirm the
relevant information prior to making your travel plans. Some bookstores
may distribute numbers, enforce rules concerning the purchase of books,
feature readings or talks by Terry, etc. It is best to contact them
directly for details. Many, many thanks to Jennifer Brehl of
HarperCollins for providing dates and locations for the upcoming tour."

disaster. He’s got an unsolved murder to solve, an impending war to
avert, a new recruit he’d really rather not hire, not to mention a pesky
government inspector asking all the wrong questions. No tickets are

      2) CLARECRAFT CLOSING DOWN

      A message from Elton Murphy:

It is with extreme sadness that I announce that one of our main
suppliers, and somewhere I spent a few happy years working,
is closing down at the end of October.

      I am referring to Clarecraft.

I don't really know what to add to this. The Clarecraft collections,
particularly the Discworld range, have been admired by countless
thousands of collectors over the years and it is hard to think that
they won't be made any more.

Clarecraft have stated that they will try to fulfil all orders up until
their closing date. My advice would be to place any orders you
may have as early as possible.

So ends a legend, and one of the last remaining UK manufacturers
of giftware. A sad day, indeed.

      3) DISCWORD FOREIGN RIGHTS SALES

      Colin Smythe, Terry's agent, reports:

Proszynski (Polish) are going to publish 'The Art of Discworld'.

Conrad (Brazil) are to publish 'Moving Pictures', and the
      unillustrated version of 'Eric'.

Pocket have bought French massmarket paperback rights in
      'Feet of Clay' and 'Hogfather'.

De Boekerij (Dutch) are to publish two double volumes -
'Equal Rites' with 'Mort', and 'Sourcery' with 'Wyrd Sisters'.

Wahlstroms are to publish a Swedish edition of 'Jingo'.

'The Colour of Magic' and 'The Light Fantastic' are going to be
published on mainland China by Science Fiction World Magazines

I've just received copies of the Russian language edition of
'Johnny and the Bomb', published by Eksmo/Domuho. They've
already published 'Only You Can Save Mankind', but I don't yet
have a date for 'Johnny and the Dead'.
