Fw: [WKneedle] Re: Who made this tapestry
- I seem to have responded privately and not to the list. This was the information provided on the facebook group.
I've enjoyed learning more about this tapestry through the fb forum and on this list.

Thank you for the answer, Mistress Jania. I saw the image link on facebook under the group SCA Anthropology, History, Sociology.
One person on that forum provided a link to photo details of the tapestry here:
They said it was made in the Barony of Adiantum, Kingdom of An Tir (based on the heraldry on the root of the tree) and was designed by Dame Meagan Windermere. They found the images by google searching Adiantum Tapestry after recognizing the heraldry lying near the leftside base of the tree (thetwo headed bear inside laurel leaves).

This tapestry was made by Antir, I think it was in the Barony of the Three
Mountains. Numerous people contributed to its construction,
spinning wool and doing the embroidery. It was completed in time for
the 30th year celebration and presented in court celebrating the foundation
of the SCA in the West and then the numerous branches that sprang from a
birthday party in Berkeley.
