Re: [W8ZHO] CW Net? A Suggestion
- Love the idea. We'd probably have to use the 94' for talk-around because a few would be too far out for 2m simplex, like NA8M up in Fremont. But, we could try simplex anyway, just to see. Sounds like fun's a brewin'--Jason_._ .. ...._ ..._ .._ _ _ _Sent from my iPod Touch

We were playing with CW on 10 and talking to each other 2 at the same time.Easy antenna is a loop with a 4:1 balun. Also, most CB antennas will work on 10 just fine and are used quite often.73Mark K8MHZ----- Original Message -----From: NA8MSent: Tuesday, December 07, 2010 10:21 AMSubject: [W8ZHO] CW Net? How about we do a CW net on ten meters on Wednesday evenings at eight o'clock local time. That's after the local two meter net. Ten is pretty handy for everyone, antennas aren't too hard, all hams have privileges, propagation at that time is probably ground wave, and we can have fun there. I suggest the "Fists" frequency, 28.058 or higher without getting into PSK territory.
