Upcoming Veggie Events
- View Source*FREE* VEGETARIAN CHEF TASTING
Sunday, May 20, 1pm
Come meet and greet the Manalapan Wegmans chefs. Learn what the chefs are doing to provide vegetarian options. Sample dishes from a 3-course vegetarian meal while Chef Sarah and her culinary team describe each dish. Vegan options will be provided. Wegmans will provide a bag of goodies for attendees to take home (recyclable bag, of course). This event is FREE, but Wegmans requires an RSVP by 5/16.
Note: Wegmans is piloting vegetarian prepared food offerings at its Manalapan location. If successful, they may roll this out to other locations. This is a great opportunity to influence a major supermarket chain on how they serve the vegetarian and vegan community. This initial focus group is limited to CJVG and VSSJ members.
