      We will have a craft table, and games and children's dances. We may even have some balloon fun. We ask everyone attending to help provide the food for a meal with foods that children will like.       For all VSSJ potlucks: Each individual in your party (with the exception of children under 12) brings a vegetarian* dish to share that will feed at least 6 people (vegan** dishes preferred so that all types of vegetarians may enjoy the food), along with the recipe or a list of ingredients. Please bring your own plate, cup, and utensils if possible (we will have extra place settings) to promote recycling.
      Beverages are provided.
      * Vegetarian = No Meat, Fish, or Gelatin.

        TOUR OF CHEYENNE'S ROAD MARKET & FARM Sunday May 3, 3pm Mt Laurel NJ 08054                                                                                                              Join VSSJ on this 45 minute tour.  Learn some of their organic practices that you can apply to your garden.  See what's in the hothouses and what is already in the ground.  Wear appropriate shoes - there may be some mud.  Craig and Shannon, owners of Cheyenne's Road Market, are dedicated to growing the best produce that they can.  Besides not using any pesticides, they grow a wide variety of heirloom vegetables. VSSJ members: Individual $2, Family $4. Non-members: Individual $3, Family $5 (pay day of) After the tour (approx. 4:30pm), we will be getting a bite to eat at “b.good” located in The Promenade at  Sagemore, 500 Rte 73 S, Suite E-2, Marlton, NJ 08053 (remember to bring your vssj membership card to receive your 10% discount) Please reserve your spot by April 30th:  email thevssj@... or call 609-848-8341.  When you reserve your spot for  the farm tour, please let us know if you plan on joining us at B Good.

The food will be GMO-free and mostly organic!     

        In order to gauge how much food we need to make, pre-payment is required. Register by Sunday May 10.  In appreciation of our members:  only $10; Non-members:  $18 (After May 1, members:  $12; non-members:  $20) Alternate payment:  send a check to:  VSSJ, PO Box 51, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054.         "Jaycee Grove", at the far end of the park, past the band shell and public facilities
        For each person in your party, bring a vegetarian potluck dish that serves 6-8, with an ingredient list.  Vegan is preferred but not required; vegetarian is required.  CJVG will provide beverages and grill items.  Bring a place setting (plate, fork, cup, etc.) for yourself to help us reduce our use of paper and plastic "throw-away" products.  Bring lawn chairs and games.  RSVP to CJVG by June 12:  908-281-6388.  Rain date 6/28 (RSVP by 6/27).

        POTLUCK PICNIC Saturday June 20, 1pm
        Long Bridge Park, Pavilion 3, Deacon Rd & Mt Holly Bypass (Rt 541), Hainesport, NJ 08036
        Join VSSJ for a family-friendly potluck picnic at this Burlington County park has several miles of nice hiking trails,  and an adjacent playground.  Children can participate in a scavenger hunt, and there will be games for the adults.  We'll have a  covered pavilion, so this event is rain or shine.
        Please review the VSSJ potluck guidelines.
        Members:  $1, $3 family; non-members:  $3, $8 family (to cover pavilion reservation fee).
        Be green:  get $1 off ($3 family) if you bring reusable place settings!
