As many of you are aware, the Schlage Lock Redevelopment proposal took a major step forward recently with the settlement of the Ingersoll Rand / Universal Paragon Corporation toxic contamination lawsuit. The site is now wholly owned by UPC. The next major step will be the certification and adoption of the Draft Environmental Impact Report.

Comments will be taken tomorrow (July 1, 2008) at the Redevelopment Agency (see below) .

Written Public comments will also be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on July 21, 2008.  Written comments should be addressed to Tom Evans, Lead Planner, San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, One South Van Ness Avenue, 5th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103. Comments received at the public hearing and in writing will be responded to in a Summary of Comments and Responses document.
