      ------
FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: VISITACION VALLEY CAPACITY BUILDING
The Mayor’s Office of Housing—Community Development Division (MOH-CD) is seeking to fund capacity building projects for an agency that primarily serves low-income residents of Visitacion Valley. $20,000 in funding will be made available through this RFP (Request for Proposals), and the grant period will be from June 1, 2013, through May 31, 2014. These funds are being made available through a one-time General Fund allocation from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

Please note that priority will be given to those agencies that 1) provide a wide range of services to Visitacion Valley residents, including low-income, monolingual, and immigrant individuals and families, and 2) have a total annual budget of less than $1,000,000.

For complete details, please review the RFP. Alternative formats for persons with disabilities will be available upon request to MOH’s ADA Coordinator, Eugene Flannery at 701-5598 or eugene.flannery@....

Submissions (original plus three copies) must be received by 5:00 pm on Friday, April 19, 2013. No applications will be accepted after this time.

      Technical Assistance Workshop
The Mayor’s Office of Housing—Community Development Division will conduct a Technical Assistance Workshop to assist interested applicants in determining the eligibility of proposed projects, and completing the required elements of the proposal packet. This meeting will be held:
      Tuesday, April 9, 2013
      1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
1 South Van Ness Avenue, 5th Floor

Questions on completing the application can be addressed at the Technical Assistance Conference, or you can contact Pierre Stroud, (415) 701-5588, pierre.stroud@...
