      Free laddu token issue counter inaugurates for common pilgrims

      TTD Chairman Sri B.Karunakara Reddy is seen distributing free laddu to the sarvadarsanam devotee and free srivari vaibhavam books to all the pilgrims. TTD E.O Sri K.V.Ramanachary, TTD Board Member Sri O.V.Ramana is also seen.

      Tirumala, 12 May (P.R.O)To provide more facilities to the common pilgrims, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) Trust Board Chairman B.Karunakara Reddy today inaugurated free laddu counter at Vaikunta Queue Complex-I to supply 175 grms free laddu to the Sarvadarsanam devotees (general queue), who visit TIRUMALA for free darshan of the lord through Vaikuntam Queue Complex -II.

      Besides free Laddu to common pilgrims, the TTD Chairman also inaugurated Pustaka Prasadam counters at VQC-I and VQC-II to supply free srivari vaibhavam books to all the pilgrims. Sri O.V. Ramana TTD Trust Board Member was also present on the occasion.

      Later on, addressing the press persons, the TTD Chairman said the TTDs offer of free laddu will be benefit about 30,000 to 40,000 pilgrims visiting TIRUMALA temple everyday. He also informed that administration would take all necessary steps to prevent any possible misuse in the distribution of free Laddus.

      The free distribution of pustaka prasadm books will be available in five languages in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, English and Hindi, he added.

      Speaking on the occasion, TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachari said that free distribution of laddus and booklets would benefit the pilgrims and added that all steps would be taken to increase laddu production to cope up with the increased demand for laddus.

      When asked about that possible misuse in free laddu distribution, he said that stern action would be intiated against the persons who try to sabotage the system.

      Later, TTD chairman also participated in Hunuman Jayanthi clebrations at Jabali Theertam and 7th mile in the first ghat road.

      As part of 600th Annamacharya Jayanthi Mahotsavams a massive procession was taken from Annamacharya statue near AIR circle to Annamacharya Kala Mandir in Tirupati. Sri Sri Sri Swaroopananda Swamy of Sarada peetam of Vizag, TTD Chairman Sri B.Karunakara Reddy, TTD E.O Sri K.V.Ramanachary,TTD JEO Sri N.Srikanth, SVETA Director Sri Bhuman, Annamacharya Project Director Sri Medasani Mohan and large number of devotees took part in the procession. Later artists of Annamacharya Project performed Gosti ganam.

      Tirupati, 05 May (P.R.O)To spread Lord's Vaibhavam tatvam and the keertans of Annamacharya across the world, Every devotee have to take responsibility, told TTD Trust Board Chairman B.Karunakara Reddy here today. He has participated as a chief quest of closing ceremony of 599 th Annamacharya Jayanthi and 600 th beginning celebration of Annamacharya at Annamacharya Kalamandir, Tirupati on May 5.

      He said as this year was already declared as Annamayya year and appealed the devotees to inform everyone about this declaration.

      He further said that with in a year the present Annamacharya Kalamandir will be renovated as a beautiful auditorium. Speaking on occasion, TTD EO KV Ramanachari said  that Annamayya keertans possess innate sweetness, simplicity and grace because they derive their surpassing strength and beauty from his all-surrendered devotion to the Lord of seven Hills. His lyrics shorn of verbiage and pomposity are suffused with a rustic charm and cadence and are subtly orchestrated into the motif of the poems: the devotion transcending space and time.

      He expressed his joy over the declaration of ` Annamayya Year'. SVETA Director Sri Bhuman said that a dictionary, a stamp on Tallapaka Annamayya might be released as mark of reverence.   

      Earlier, a grand procession with Nagarsankeertana took place from Annamayya statue (near All India Radio circle) to Annamacharya Kalamandir at 7 AM . Nearly 200 bhajana artists from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka have taken part.       

      Sri N.Srikanth, JEO, Tirupati, Sr P.Hari Kumar, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer , Dr.Madasani Mohan, Director, Annamacharya Project and thousands of devotee have participated in the programme.      

      Later in the evening a public meeting will be held at Indira Maidan in the temple town, where TTD chairman and TTD EO will address the gathering followed by Bharata natyam by Padma Vibhushan Smt.Padma Subramanyam.

      Sriman Tallapaka Annamacharya's 600 th birth year celebrations conducted in a grand manner at Tallapaka, the birth place of saint-poet Annamayya on Thursday morning.

      Rajampeta, 03 May (P.R.O) On this occasion of  massive Nagarsankeertans is arranged from Rajampet degree college grounds to Tallapaka at a distance of 10 km with more than 10,000 devotees and great personalities including several mutt-heads and prominent music directors. Nearly 300 bajana mandals from Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh have taken part in the spiritual procession.

      Later, TTD chairman B.Karunakara Reddy has laid foundation stones to 100-feet annamayya idol and for theme park at entrance of the Tallapaka village on by-pass road.

      He also laid the foundation stone as a mark of 600 th birth year celebrations of Annamacharya which begun yesterday. 

      After performed ' sudarshana yogam' by temple priests  at  Chennakesava temple here, addressing at a public meeting,, TTD   Chairman B Karunakara Reddy said the Tallapaka Annamacharya, the 15 th century composer rose to a legend in his own life time gifted with rare poet talent and versatility, the simple pious telugu composer elevated music from its traditional courtly atmosphere to the cosmic heights when only the purest of the words and ragas inter-play.

      He further said that the present Jayanthi celebrations is nothing but beginning to revive our sanathana Hindu dharma and moral values. He appealed the public to become sri vari sevaks so as to pay more attention to spread hindu dharma in the society. He also said that TTD would conduct such spiritual and religious programmes continuously.

      Sri K V Ramanachari , Executive Officer of TTDs has informed the public that TTD is conducting this utsavam as year long celebrations. He also appealed the devotees to bless and support the TTD so as to conduct good spiritual programmes to spread out sanathana Hindu dharma among the public.

      Earlier, Director Raghavendra Rao has released two audio CDs  sung by Dwaram  Lakshmi  titled ' haripadalu' .

      Sri Sri Jayendra Sarswathi , Kanchi Mutt, Sri Sri Sush meendra Swamy and Suya theendra Swamy of Ragavendra Mutt , have given anugraha bhashanam to the devotees.

      Sri Sari Pratap, MP, Smt Prabavathamma , Sri B.Chengalarayulu, MLC, Sri Krishan Babu, District Collector, noted film music directors , Directors , writers, TTD officials  and prominent personalities have spoken on this occasion.

      As part of the celebrations, Srinivasa Kalyanotsavam was performed later in the evening at Rajampet Degree college grounds amidst vedic hymns and religious fervour. In the night, annamayya cultural programmes such as Annamayya rupakam and traditional dance performed by artists from Sri Venkateswara Music and Dance College , TTDs, Tirupati.

      Tirumala, 01 May (P.R.O)God is everywhere and he looks after the problems of everyone told Sri Sri Sri Swami Swaroopananda of Visaka Sarada Peetam. On the occasion of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Jayanthi celebrations, he has given Anugrahabhashanam to the devotees.

      While speaking, he has appreciated the decision of TTD to conduct Dalitha Govindam in Dalithwadas so as to propagate Lord's Vaibhavam and devotion to the public.

      Sri B.Karunakara Reddy, Chairman, TTDs has said that like Thallapaka Annamacharya, Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba made several hyms on Lord's Vaibhavam. She fought against the social inequalities even on those days. He further informed that Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Jayanthi Celebrations would be conducted like Annamacharya in a grand manner forever.

      Further Sri K.V.Ramanachary, E.O TTDs said that both Annamacharya Lalipata, Vengamamba Mutyala Harathi are famous and both are still in practice in the temple. Music concerts is arranged with cine singers like Smt. Sunitha, Sri Nihal, Ms. Gopika Poornima, Sudharani, artists of Annamacharya Project, S.V.Music College, Tirupati at Narayanagiri Gardens on this occasion.Earlier the Lord and His consorts were taken out in a procession to Narayanagiri Gardens followed by Nagara Sankeerthana.

      Later Sri Sri Sri Swami Swaroopananda of Visaka Sarada Peetam ,Sri B.Karunakara Reddy, Chairman, TTDs, Sri Bhuman, Director SVETA, Cine Director Sri K.Viswanath, and other paid floral tributes to the tomb of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba.
