  • You're right: the -b option is VERY slow.... Matt Zilmer, W6NIA / NNN0UET / NNN0GAF THREE NMCM RMS Winmor: NNU9ET-5: Upland, CA. The "b" will provide you with the actual program name associated with the port numbers...

  • If this comes up again .... At the XP command prompt, type netstat -ano You'll get a list of active localhost (and other) IP addresses and their states. If the subject port is taken, the application or entity that has it should be listed, and you can resolve the conflict. 73, Matt Zilmer, W6NIA / NNN0UET / NNN0GAF THREE NMCM RMS Winmor: NNU9ET-5: Upland, CA. • By " authoritative " I just meant some degree of common usage or agreement (like a band plan). I've found freq lists for different data modes, sometimes by band, but they don't all agree. V4 is new enough that this makes sense, and most folks just use the PSK31 freq + 2500 Hz. 30m is another story.... Matt Zilmer, W6NIA / NNN0UET / NNN0GAF THREE NMCM RMS Winmor: NNU9ET-5: Upland...

  • I've also been using 7073.5. In a few minutes, I'll be back on that freq. Listening on 40m now, but have to install the latest and greatest first. Someone put together a data modes list for 30m and it shows 10131.0 and 10136.0 for V4. I cannot find an authoritative freq list online either. I'll try listening on 7073.5 around 1250 - 1315Z. 73, Matt Zilmer, W6NIA / NNN0UET / NNN0GAF...

  • Wouldn't SELCAL be unattended operation? We can do that in MARS but not sure it's legal for FCC-regulated Amateur radio services. MARS is regulated by NTIA, so exempt from the unattended ops rules. Matt Zilmer, W6NIA / NNN0UET / NNN0GAF THREE NMCM RMS Winmor: NNU9ET-5: Upland, CA. • Same here. I just installed the full 0.3.0.1 package, available on the Yahoo group Files section. I doubt there is any difference between the TNC 0.3.0.1 "patch" and the newly installed program. Deme, I copied your connect requests and the program tried to complete the handshake. After a while, your end gave up and there were no more responses. Seems to be some degree of...
