Group Description

Team Leader:
This group was formed for any g0y who wants to interact with other g0ys on the game grid. With any luck, you won't suffer deresolution in shame.

The LINKS & FILES sections to the left are where you can get the latest programs, patches & other kewl things needed to participate in UnReal Tournament. I suggest that you begin in the FILES area.

For those with more basic questions: UnReal tournament is a 1st-person-perspective multiplayer game that can be played "solo" (You vs. Bots), -or on-line in team play via an UnReal Tourny Game Server. Gameplay is highly addictive, action-packed & Practice makes for being a better player.

I look forward to team feedback, suggestions & tips as this forum progresses.

If you have never played "UnReal Tournament" before, -then I'd like to make a few suggestions:

I use a thumb-driven trackball for play (& for everything else). I find it better than a mouse.

Also, I suggest that you configure your controls to best leverage the use of your keyboard in a one-handed fashion. I strongly suggest that you use your trackball/mouse for action-movements that require high speed interactions (like looking around). Configure the keyboard so that 1-handed operation allows for operations that require brief or steady button presses (although I use the trackball buttons for firing).

Make use of the practice modes. The Bots packaged with the game are configurable in skill, adaptation & number.

Be sure to get the latest patches for whatever version of UnReal you are using. Very often, -patches fix problems.

I like the Original "Unreal Tournament" lots. It runs well on computers a few years old and has very straightforward game play.

If you want to start your own UnReal Group, -- then be sure to notify me so that we can link them into the master list!

See you on the Grid!
