That is just what I would have guessed, like potato without the "ta". I know "eau" is from French and is pronounced like "oh". I'll watch for the envelope.

Group Description

USAphotomaps is a free program by JDM Cox for displaying maps and photos provided by http://msrmaps.com/ . With numerous features it can interface to GPS receivers to provide a moving map display of the current location. I have found it to be a very fun program to learn and use.

This group provides a place for users to discuss usage and ask questions. Feel free to ask any question or to just say hi and describe what you are doing with USAphotomaps.

The msrmaps.com website, on which USAPM relies for all of its imagery, has gone down forever as of May 1, 2012! We mounted a successful effort to download all of the data from this server to prevent it from being lost (to us) forever.

Many thanks to all of the USAPM users who contributed to this effort and congratulations! You all did a great job and now we will be working on ways to make all of this data available.

Thanks to the efforts of a couple of folks, Microsoft realizes how important the msrmaps.com data server is and has decided to keep it running after all. Thanks Microsoft. I never thought I would be saying that in sincerity... but I really mean it, thanks Microsoft!
