      Dear UCI CX Organizers:

Thanks to everyone who attended the first CX Promoter Summit.  Here are a few items and updates:

      1.     UCI invoices for 2010/2011 CX events:  UCI communicated the inscription invoices were mailed (post) on August 9, 2010, so you should be receiving your invoice this week.  If you do not receive your invoice by Friday, August 27, 2010, please notify me.  I will notify UCI as soon as you alert me to the situation.  This process will help to ensure consistent communication and tracking of any invoice issues that may arise.

Some points to remember when paying the inscription fee to UCI:

ü  Once you receive your inscription fee invoice, please pay UCI directly.

ü  Include the invoice number with the wire transfer payment.

ü  Here is the wire transfer information (this is the preferred method instead of checks):

      IBAN : CH24 0024 3243 3092 8860L / BIC: UBSWCHZH80A / Swift: UBSWCHZH10A

Beneficiary: Union Cycliste Internationale – 1860 Aigle / Switzerland

      4.     USA Cycling Permitting

There are two options for permitting your event with USA Cycling:  You may submit your permit directly online (www.usacycling.org) or complete and submit the hard copies (mail, scan/email, fax).  If not submitting online:

ü  Join as a USA Cycling Club (if the USA Cycling club/team/event organizer membership needs to be renewed for 2010)

ü  Complete and submit these permitting forms.  Submit directly to the designated permit contact in your Local Association or submit to your Regional Coordinator if you do not have a USA Cycling Local Association for your state.

                              Competitive Event Checklist

                              Request for Additionally Insured

ü  Include copy of Race Flyer/Event website with Cash Purse Indicated (with breakdown per placing) and USA Cycling permit number (please indicate ‘pending’ until the permit number has been issued)
