    Raleigh's Midsummer Nights Cyclocross Offers "Pro Contract"
    Calling All Emerging Elite Rider for Rare Opportunity to Win a Season of CX
    Support

    Seattle, WA - May 23, 2011 -- Raleigh Bicycles and MFG Cyclocross are
    kicking off the cyclocross season two months earlier than usual with
    Raleigh's Midsummer Nights Cyclocross at the Raleigh Retailer Summit at
    Suncadia Resort in Roslyn, WA on July 21, 2011. This rare summer cyclocross
    race will not only start the season early, but will blow the season wide
    open with a cash and merchandise prize list worth over $40,000.

    For the Elite Men and Women races, Raleigh Bicycles will have a "pro
    contract" on the table for the top finishing rider without an existing
    contract for the 2011/2012 US UCI Cyclocross Season.

    The top Elite Rider without contract in both the Elite Men's and Women's
    races will receive a "Contract with Raleigh" for the 2011/2012 US UCI
    Cyclocross Calendar. This will include the following support as called out
    below. Additionally, the first male and first female across the finish line
    in the Elite races-no matter with or without contract-will win $1500 for
    first place, $500 for 2nd place, and $250 for 3rd place. So, there's the
    possibility of winning the contract AND a cash prize.

    Free Entry to all Cross After Dark Races $150

    Eligibility for Top Elite Rider without contract prize:
    . Must possess USCF Cat 1 or 2 Cyclocross License.
    . Must purchase a UCI International License to receive prize.
    . Must be racing age 19 or over during the 2011/2012 cyclocross
    season.
    . Cannot have a current contract with a UCI trade team for the
    2011/2012 cyclocross season.
    . Cannot have a current contract with title sponsor for the 2011/2012
    cyclocross season.
    . Must be able to attend all US Grand Prix of Cyclocross and Cross
    After Dark races in 2011.

    Cash Prize List for Elite Men and Women Races:
    1st Place - $1,500, 2nd Place - $500, 3rd Place - $250

    Raleigh's Midsummber Night's Cyclocross on July 21st in Roslyn, WA is just
    four days after the conclusion of US Mountain Bike Nationals in Sun Valley,
    ID. Roslyn is a 10 hour drive from Sun Valley primarily by Interstate
    Highway. Roslyn shares a similar climate to Sun Valley, dry and warm.
