Adam’s interpretation of the situation is correct on all counts.  If you feel the need to run a separate u23 race, expect to pay the prize list, but USAC and the UCI are not requiring the u23 riders to race alone.  I’d also encourage you all to please separate the Juniors from the Masters, but either way – the Junior prize list must be paid.

Thanks very much to everyone who sent their inscription forms!  If you are not one of these people, today is the deadline!

That's my understanding, Kelly, yes. I would wait for Matt, who I would
assume is on vacation, to confirm that officially. But based on
conversations we had about it this year, you should check the U23 box, run
your race as an Elite/U23 category, but only pay the elite prize list.

With this, everyone's racing for the same prize list (the elite prize list),
but U23's are allowed to enter the race. You should envision it as similar
to running a Pro/1/2 road race. You have 3 categories, but only one prize
list. You can note the top cat. 1 or cat. 2 in the results, but they don't
      get a separate prize list.

This is different from the Junior situation, because the juniors have a
separate event and start. Even if you run them with the Masters (which you
should be moving away from anyway), it's a separate race, with a set prize
list. If you ran the U23's separate, like they do at WC's and
SuperPrestiges, you'd have to pay them separately then.

Hope that makes it less and not more confusing.
